Beltaine - Rockhill
Chmurek's StepMix 3 Entry
=========================

This song is so awesome. It's like Fleadh Uncut meets Euphoria and Da Roots. The ending part is a random freestyle played on violin. I tried my best to sync it as close as possible. If you are a leet keyboarder and can do better, be my guest.

Beginner [1]
Nothing to see here.

Light [5]
Arrows cover the main beat, some doubletaps added for variety, and a pack of corner jumps that should seem fun to newbies. The ending might be tricky, but it's upbeat, so I guess it's okay.

Standard [8]
A DDR-style chart, mainly utilizes 1/8ths. This is probably how this song would look like if it was on DDR (except, it would not flow as well, and there would be no mines xD). Be prepared for a huge load of crossovers. They sound so right and are very fun to do, so why not? The stepjumps at the end shouldn't pose any difficulty to an 8-feet player.

Heavy [11]
Ok, now we're getting to the fun part. I understand, that I'm making a dangerous gamble using those as heavy, because this chart will not appeal to DDR players. However, due to the structure of the song, I didn't want to butcher it with toned-down 9-footer. The steps resemble what you can see in Fleadh Uncut, and an ITG player shouldn't have any problems with passing it. The BPM is correct, and it's MEANT to be played on at least 2x. The steps during the slowdown follow the guitar in the background, if you can't hear it clearly. Some pseudo-lifts are also used (hold+mine), and they fit really nice.

Challenge [13]
Riiight. This is as close to the actual notes as possible. This chart was made because I wanted to include the 1/32 euphor-ish violin notes (too awesome to be left out). Meanwhile, be prepared for some difficult crossovers and jumps. This chart can give you a huge workout, there aren't many breaks from the streams, so much stamina is needed. Only for expert players.

Thanks for reading an playing. Hope you enjoy the steps. Any feedback is always encouraged.

Yeah, and if you're wondering, the rest of the stuff on Beltaine's CD is just as good as this one. Definitely worth checking out.
